Lawrence G. Rose, Founder
Larry Rose has spent the past three decades practicing real estate and business law in New York, serving as a partner since 1986. He is a commercial real estate attorney with substantial experience in most areas of commercial practice, including office, retail and industrial leasing, development work, acquisitions and sales, and financing.
Larry founded Rose Law Associates in 2010 to provide clients with efficient and effective commercial real estate counsel. Previously he co-founded Rose & Kissin LLP, in 1997 to focus on commercial real estate transactions and trust and estate planning and administration. Before that, he was a partner in the real estate group at Hartman & Craven LLP in New York, which he joined in 1981 after spending two summers there as a summer associate while attending law school.
Larry graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Brown University in Providence, R.I. He went on to receive a law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Mo., in 1981. Larry is a member of the New York State Bar Association, serving on the Commercial Leasing Subcommittee of the Real Property Law Committee.
Larry, an avid tennis player who was co-captain of the Brown varsity tennis team, today serves on the Board of Directors of New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL). Each year, the non-profit organization provides free after-school tennis lessons, tutoring, and college prep training to more than 100,000 children throughout New York City’s five boroughs.
